Created by Israeli photographer, artist, and visual storyteller Asi Ze’evi, PERSPECTIVA invites our imagination to run wild together with the great wilderness. The series of overviews in motion summons us into a different kind of awareness, where visual symmetry acts as symbolic reflection, and we get to play with the interweaving of reality and fantasy. As we dive in, we are encouraged to feel deeply and to inevitably reflect on an emotional human experience delivered through the personification of landscape. PERSPECTIVA blurs the boundaries between us and our environment, asking us to view it as another leading character in our stories.

Ze’evi’s canvas for this work was Costa Rica, his main playground for over 20 years. 

A pioneer in drone footage, he finds the familiar bird’s eye view to be serene and therapeutic. But something different happened this time; the land came into life in novel ways he did not anticipate, rekindling the flame of an old love affair. Organically psychedelic and truly mesmerizing patterns began to form, transforming the known into a mystery, changing the narrative of what he believed he already knew. 

Inspired by earth, by the brilliant work of other unique angle-seekers like Yann Arthus’ Home, and by the ever-evolving desire for discovery and breakthrough, Asi is honored to present this vision of love. He offers us a new perspective, a picture so broad and clear that it reminds us of who we are, and allows us to forget the small stuff, 

even if only for a moment.
